Exercise and sleep deprivation . . . kangoo jump boots . . .

Post by horsessculler » Thu Dec 09, 2004 10:13 pm

Good day and salutations. My name is David. This is my first post.

Over the years, I have learned that one of the best techniques in my ammo locker for dealing with my sleep disorder - is to become fanatically physically fit.

It really really helps.

I cycle now - have for 5 years or so. Car driving? Zilch, except for long trips.

Weight training and swimming, blah, blah, blah . . .

Best thing?? http://www.kangoojumps.com

I am NOT a promo guy for this company - NOT NOT NOT!! Ok??

But this is how I run today. With these boots. Have for 2 years now.

If you're big and overweight - they are the key to running.

Knee injuries - zilch
Ankle injuries - zilch
Shin Splints - zilch.

If you're big and overweight - get the pro boots.
For a woman - the KJR boots are fine - but use the red rubber springs instead of the yellow ones - and use the metal springs as well.

The exercise regime has done more for me than anything.

The sudden tiredness syndrome - especially on summer afternoons - while still there - is not of the crisis proportions as before.

All the best

R&R,

You got that right!

I can just see my knees blowing out

I have enough trouble staying upright standing on a good pair of shoes.

I took a look at the website and read the materials as well. Are you getting an impression from the photo's that you bounce, as like on a pogo-stick?

I don't think that's the intentsion, but to act as a shock abosorber.

If I could find some locally to try, I may test them out.

I am 44 years old!!!

I have run in the Pro Model of these boots (http://www.kangoojumps.com) for the last 6 months. Previous to that Iused the KJR model.

I am not a small person by any means. I am 6:2 and weigh 210 lbs.

Nasa is using them for training astronauts.
British Special Forces are using them also.

Congratulations on being in such good shape at 44!

I don't doubt this are an inovative product and would be useful to many. I personaly at 44 myself am not in any condition to use such a thing though.

Maybe when I get my ACL replaced.

Maybe you can wear them and your cpap mask and everyone will think your one of the NASA trainees.

Do you run in them or hop like a rabbit? If you are doing this at 44 then you have my Kudos. I just way to many health problems for such things. My college age son would most likely love them. I would have to when I was younger. There was a day I was a division champion in my class as a power lifter. I squated 910 times for ten reps. Now I'm afraid my chest has fallen into my drawers. I am ironic enough a bedroom furniture wholesaler now.

R&R

Do you have a hose hook on the headboard of all the beds you sell?

Hmm, maybe I could do this and get CPAP.com to sell it and make my fortune.
