I am new to cpaptalk and I don't quite understand how this works.....if I ask a question and someone replies, how do I reply back without having to post a new post.?

Look for your post or thread and hit Post Reply. Your answer will show up in that thread in chronolgical order.
Also, look for the link in the upper-left corner of the forum index page View Your Posts. That will show you all the posts you have made, and is a quick way to check if there has been an answer.

The quote button allows you to repeat something someone else has said in order to highlight waht they said or explain what you're responding to. Try it out. You can hit quote on someone's post and it will start a reply for you in that threat. To cut the size of the quote down just erase like you would normal text.
