Aarrggh...can that be counted as my pirate talk contribution? Not very good at it. Sorry. Must have failed "Pirate" when I was in school or should have had some brothers...didn't even like the Pirates of the Caribbean ride at Disney, either. Boring.

FF, yours was great!

What simile? I don't see a simile anywhere in his text... no use of the words "like" or "as"... in fact, no comparisons made whatsoever...

Maybe you just need a new keyboard to help along the way.

Grab,

Where did you find that one???

And, by the way, who typed "similie" instead of "smilie"...I'm not guilty on that count. Perhaps I'm asleep at the keyboard???

Also, Grab, how did you get the name in the gray area of the quote box?

Okay, I get it (a little slow on the uptake here). I thought you were just joking and then when Grab answered he'd fix it, I started to doubt my eyes...okay, I'll shut up and whimper away with my tail between my legs now. Don't have to shout at me...

Oh dear... You kids are too young to remember Emily Latella from Saturday Night Live, aren't you....

Trust me, if you were a middle-aged old fogey like myself, that would have been moderately amusing....

Neversleeps,

Me, too young? I am probably older than you. That was played by Gilda Radner, who always would end her long dissertation of misunderstanding by, "Oh, never mind..."

It's just that young and perky way I wrote my posts that makes you think I'm still in my tender years...no such luck.
