Re: Video clip of my sleep study room
That was far more appointed than mine was!!! I brought my puter to watch a movie (no tv), definately not as roomy and bathroom down the hall. Nice digs!
These beautiful kids in my avi are my motivation for getting healthy and staying compliant. Need to be around a long time. See my new blog at http://creativekidscakeslife.blogspot.com/ Baking Blog http://feedingtheravenoushorde.blogspot.com

TV! Private bath room... with a shower! That's the nicest sleep study room I've ever seen.

Re: Video clip of my sleep study room
What kind of bed did you get? My first had me on a hospital bed - certainly not comfortable for a sleep study. My second was a Sleep Number. It was okay, but I think with it being used so much it didn't inflate as well as it could have. I had a private bathroom both times, no tv, but I had my PDA with me so I could do some web browsing before I was ready for sleep.
So you get one chance in a lifetime to spend time with the sexiest man of the Boeshane Peninsula or traveling around in a TARDIS. Which would you choose?

Nice digs! Mine wasn't quite so plush:

My room was similar to Uncle Bob's, but had a 42" flat-screen TV mounted on the wall in front of the bed. It was nice!
Snorebert, was your room in a prison?!

Not really. It seemed like it compared to Uncle_Bobs.
The room wasn't too bad. It was the cattle-car experience at the center. One hour to wire up and lights out. Each Sleep tech was wiring and monitoring three to four patients every night. In the morning it was up, change and out the door.

Uncle_Bob, thanks for posting the video of your sleep study center. It is very attractive. Just wish it had a full bath.Snorebert wrote:Not really. It seemed like it compared to Uncle_Bobs.

Snorebert, you’re killing me! But, thanks for posting the pic of your sleep study room. It’s pitiful! I read that Arete sells franchises to independent sleep centers so each one is individually owned. I hear St. Joseph's Hospital owns an Arete Sleep Center in Phoenix. I might have to a buy franchise so I can set up my own sleep study center as a bed and breakfast!

Some of the rooms have flat screens, others do not.
4 rooms at my place, 2 per titrator.
it seemed like a semi-firm pillow top mattress .
I did have a thermostat but they explained they like it cool so the paste for the sensors does not soften up and give way.
It took about an hour to get wired up. First come first served.
