Oh, wow, I wish I would have known of this site a long time ago!! I've been learning from you all in the last two weeks .. I've been on CPAP therapy for nine years, and I was pretty CPAP illiterate until I found all of you.
I had my original sleep study nine years ago, after I was diagnosed with COPD and Diastolic Dysfunction. The study showed that I was lucky to be alive. I thought that my problems were over ... wrong, another sleep study a few years later showed that my apnea wasn't controlled well enough. After that study, I went on the M series PRO with C-Flex. Life got better and I LOVE MY CPAP MACHINE ... I don't dream of even taking a nap without hooking up.
I basically understood the operation of CPAP, but you all have enlightened me far more. It seems like my thoughts when I'm all tucked in bed are ... I wish I would have checked cpaptalk for ..... then I can't remember what it was by morning!! I beat it tonight. I didn't understand what the purpose of C-Flex was, and lo and behold, it was one of tonight's topics.
I was upset because my full face mask framework broke, so I was looking for a mask on CPAP.com and found you all. I wish now that I'd had someone take a picture of my innovative ways to make that broken mask work because it would have given you all a good laugh.
Thank you all for the CPAP education!!!
