Back in Novemebr of 2007 I started on CPAP. I like many people had no support from either my Doctor or DME. It was all of the regular people here that helped and encouraged me to keep on with my therapy. Well today I am getting good therapy, running consistent 0.6, 0.4 usually less than a 1.0 AHI rate. Why because people on this forum care. I am off my blood pressure meds I have also lost 65 pounds by being able to go to the gym. I also am working again. More importantly, my daughter was just diagnosed with OSA and I was able to recognize the symptoms and talk her into going to the Doctor. She ahs also received help here. So I just wanted to say thank you to all of you.

Stan, that's very good news. You've been doing it "right", that's for sure. Hope all goes well for your daughter. She's lucky to have your supporting her and helping her with her therapy now.

Stan, encouraging report in so many areas - blood pressure, weight loss, activity level, productivity, advocacy - I too offer my congratulations. So, we have another "family" on the forum. I'm aware of a couple others, wonder how many others there are. Sounds like another thread. Getting this treatment right has turned out for you to be a double blessing. Way to go!
