BiPap Question

Post by Kaylore » Wed Sep 23, 2009 3:56 pm

First, I'm new here so hi everybody. I wear a BiPap S/T gray model with the smart card. Had it for a little over 2 years. The last week I've had a problem tho. 2 mornings in a row it woke me up with a beep. Just 1 single beep. It never stopped putting out air, just beeped. We cleaned it, changed the filters & for 2-3 nights it was fine again. Then yesterday morning & again this morning it did it again. Woke me up with 1 single beep. The mask doesn't seem to be leaking, the machine never stops putting out air. And it only does it while I'm asleep. I called the equipment place & all she told me was try unplugging it for 5 minutes & if it did it again see if it displayed an error message & call her back. Has anyone else ever had this problem and if so what was the problem/solution

Do you have the User manual for your machine?
It describes the alarms and other helpful information that isn't normally in a "User" manual.

If you'll PM me with your e-mail address, I'll send it to you.
I thought I also had the Providers manual for that one, but the one I have is a much older model (about 2003).

The information about the alarms is in Chapter 7.
