What I am experiencing does not seem normal at all. The more deeply & longer, I sleep. The more worse, I feel. This week, I managed to sleep 8+ hours, fantastic data !! But feel, way more worse. I'm walking around like a spaced out zombie again.
People keep telling me, I haven't been on treatment long, but would a person continue to take meds, that made them feel worse? Harsh side effects ? Allergic too ? for a month.
I just don't understand what's going on ? I'm sleeping better, I'm breathing better, and yet I feel like Dawn of the dead !!!! I hate feeling like, I want to pass out all the time. I did not feel this way before treatment, I was tired but not to the point of passing out. That scares the hell out of me.
Sometimes, I'm too tired to even breathe, when I lay down. It's scary !!!
If my body is catching up on sleep, why do I feel so crappy !!!!! Lifeless !!! Stuggle to even ask a question !!!
I am so tired of this !! And waiting to get back in to see a sleep doc, takes forever !!! I know what I am experiencing is not normal. Something is not right about my treatments, I will not use cpap tonight, to see if I feel better tomorrow, only way I will know.
I felt better, having 33 eph, as opposed to now. Really crazy !!!
Just venting as alway's.
More sleep - more tired !!!

Re: More sleep - more tired !!!
Hi there! Boy can I relate, as I'm sure many here can. Although I am a Newbie to CPAP, I thought I'd just throw in here a personal thought: Could you possibly also have Chronic Fatigue Syndrome? Personally, I had my sleep study for a couple of reasons and one was to rule out that syndrome. With only 3 nights on CPAP, I have noticed that I don't need to yawn as often anymore! Prior to beginning CPAP, I was so exhausted, that I would literally yawn in the middle of speaking to someone. It was totally out of my control. That was my first discovery that leads to my belief that my issue is probably not CFS. I wonder if you should check into this. At any rate, I sincerely hope that you will be feeling better soon! Let us know how you are doing!

Thanks for reply & support. No, I don't have CFS, I was tested for everything, adrenal fatigue, thyroid, diabetes, etc..... All return normal.
Discovered the reason, I felt so horrible yesturday. I cold turkey Dr. Pepper 2 day's ago, I consumed a 6 pack a day. Took my med, my blood sugar dropped to 65 mg/dl yesturday. Last doc visit, my pcp advised me to keep a close watch for hypoglycemic symptoms. I am not diabetic, but the doctor wanted to try 250 mg Metformin, to see if it helped with fatigue, prior to sleep study. I have an appt with Diabetic doc on Sept 10th, to stop or continue med.
Had the symptoms, shaking, cold, severly fatigued, sweating, felt like passing out etc...... ate a meal, drank OJ, and felt lots better. Wasn't cpap therapy.
What a day !!!!
Didn't take med today, and feel fine.
Sorry, If I alarmed or scared anyone, I wasn't at the right state of mind, persistently felt like passing out, with no assistance.

Glad to hear you seem to have a handle on what is going on. BTW, did the Metformin help with fatigue?Spirit wrote:Hi,LittasGabby wrote: Could you possibly also have Chronic Fatigue Syndrome?

Thanks for reply. No, Metformin did not help my fatigue, only occassionally dropped me into low sugar mode. My pcp, has been doing his best, to find out why I feel so fatigued, I've had every test performed in the medical profession, all return normal, apnea was the only abnormal discovery, so hopefully cpap treatment gets me back to living again, and not feeling like Dawn of the dead, Lol !!!!
