picking the right cpap machine
picking the right cpap machine
I am a new cpap user. I never got the chance to look at any cpap machines I was just given to use from the doctors office which they then billed my insurance. They gave me the RESmed S8 escape 2 with a pressure of 12. That machine was not doing good for me. I was told that they would have me use an Auto machine since an auto machine does not necessarily go right to the cpap pressure prescribed by the doctor. So I started looking on internet sites for machines that might work and that I would like to try to use. My list was narrowed to 3 machines. The new Respironics PR System 1 Auto cpap w/c-flex plus, The RESmed Auto Set 2, and the Fisher and Paykel sleepstyle 200 series HC254. I am leaning towards the PR system 1 but the CPAP 2 Go company which I deal with has not approved selling it yet. Anyone out there use any of these machines or have your own reviews to help me get the right machine that I will be using for the next 5 years as that is when my insurance will pay for a new machine.
