O.T. Loss of a spouse
My wife (Rosy) & I were camp ground hosts this summer. We came back home on Sept. 1 and Rosy died in her sleep that night. I found her the next morning. She had 6 heart surgeries. The last one being the Maze Procedure. Her last 6 mo. were the best in 20Yrs. I'm looking forward to reading all the "news" on here, and trying to be a help to the newcomers. Thanks. Sleepy Boy (Larry)

Larry,
Words are sorely inadequate.
Please know that I am sending you my best wishes in your time of sadness. I am so sorry for your loss.
When you have time and feel up to it, could you tell us a bit about your wife?
Brenda

Larry,
I am glad to read that your wife's last months were better ones and that she was able to be active. So often health is on a continuous decline with no reprieve. Sounds like she had a difficult journey with all the surgeries. I am so sorry to hear of your loss and pray that you and those who grieve with you are comforted.

I am truly saddened to hear of your loss. It appears that your poor wife endured more than her fair share of agony. May God allow her to rest in peace for eternity. Stay strong.

Larry,
Words fail. Take heart in the fact that her last months were the best. Don't forget to take care of yourself in the coming days and weeks.

Sleepy Boy,
Campground hosting is a wonderful experience I understand. I am glad you shared this with Rosy this summer and that you had 6 months that will be happy memories with her. May I suggest you surround yourself with family and friends who care about you and Rosy. Please know that you are in my prayers while you go through this grieving process.

Re: O.T. Loss of a spouse
Well, she was 62 Yrs. old. She loved to fish, camp, ATV ride, mushroom hunt etc. almost anything outdoors. She loved nature and all the "critters" here in Northern Mich. We traveled with our 5th. wheel for 4 Yrs. not having a house. We stayed out in the desert in Az. in winters, and came back to Mich. for summer. In between times she was having heart ablasion surgeries for atrial fribulation. We finally had to buy a house due to her health. She never complained. If you met her-you loved her. It was our second marriage, we met at a singles dance. She had 3 children & I had 3. We have 14 Grandkids & 1 Great Grand Daughter. We would have been married 16 Yrs. in April. She was an awesome wife & my very best friend. She loved life like no other person I ever met. She always worried more about others than herself. She would give anyone anything she had.I could go on almost endlessly, but I think you get an idea of what my "Rosebud" was like. Brenda-thanks for asking-it was good for me to tell you about her. Thanks, Larry..Pugsy wrote:Larry,
