Mask and DME

Well it has been 9 months since I was diagnosed with sleep apnea. I now figure out that no one (DME's Docs etc""" ) really listen to you when you talk or explain something to them. I told them that I sleep on my stomach or my side. Tried to get a Swift LT mask which I thought would be better in my case, but they insisted on a nasal Resmed micro . Got it but had a lot of leaks since I also toss and turn quite a bit at night and have RLS. Anyway went back after three and a half months and got another mask Full face Quattro, they told me that my leak rate was so high because my mouth was open at night. OK got the mask, started using it and it was fine for some time. Then the terrible leaks started again. Went back Monday and the DME said that I should of told them in the first place that I was sleeping on my stomach.
Well I guess it was the day which I was in a bad mood, I am so fed up of being taken for a fool, got upset and gave her a peice of my mind, told her to get glasses and learn how to read because it is on file and underlined in red, I could even see it myself.Well she was stumped, and agreed to let me have the swift LT. Got it and I was very happy to see the leak rate down by more than half, but what is now funny I have to go back with my Full face mask since I caught a bad cold. With my luck mabe H1N1 virus .

Looks like you are STARTING to understand they "DO NOT CARE" for you or your health just what makes them the BIGGEST commission $$$$$ Just not hired to read & Think!

I guess I am turning into an old fart . It took a while but I think i get the way it works now.Anyway its my health right, so I think I will take things into my hands and they will have no choice but give me satisfaction, or I will go somewhere else.
