Buying a cpap mask

Two weeks ago I purchased a Resmed S8 Autoset Vantage.
The doctor who checked me and the salesperson who sold me the cpap did not ask
me from where I am breathing (nose or mouth). The salesperson, a nice lady, brought
me some masks to try, but with none of them I could breath.
I started to search the internet, and found out, that there is a term "mouth breathing"
and I am one of the "mouth breathing" people. I need to use a full mask.
The nice lady brought me two masks - a used Ultra Mirage - with which I could not sleep
because it had leaks all around it (I think it was old), and a Mirage Liberty small, with which
I could not sleep too, as I need the large size.
I told her that it is small,and she told me that she will bring me the medium to try.
I wanted the large to try, but she sad, that if I like the large one, I have to buy it, as it
is sealed!!!!.
I asked if she thinks it is logical to pay so much money in advance without knowing
if it will fit me, and she said, that there is no other option as she can not open it.
Well, it doesn't seems to be right I think, and I would like to read your opinions and
what you suggest me to do.

If I remember correctly ResMed has a 30 day exchange policy for masks. Each DME seems to have their own policy.
They didn't want to open the package because then the mask couldn't be sold as new. They should have all sizes available to try.

They Hybrid mask is very similar to the Liberty and it comes with all 3 sizes of cushions included.... The Liberty is package with one size cushion per package.

Cpap.com has a policy where you can buy a mask, along with a (much smaller) insurance fee, and if the mask is unsuitable, you can return it and just pay for the insurance.
