Hello All-
I have been a CPAP user for several years though admittedly not as regularly as I should in the past. I have been using it very regularly for several weeks, and loving it more than ever before. I have a ResMed S7 base unit, and a ResMed Mirage Micro mask. Now to the problem: I have a somewhat wide nose bridge and that, combined with a reclined sleeping position due to a back problem is causing me to have soreness and actual open rub marks on the bridge of my nose, making it impossible to use the mask until it heals. When I saw my supplier, they suggested the Mirage Micro, which actually seems a little worse than the similar mask I had before.
Suggestions anyone?

Re: Help with a sore nose
Hello,
I have been attempting to help people with the bridge of their nose soreness for a while now.
First I would say to try loosening the straps as much as possible, this may fix it.
If that does not help, I do have a PAD A CHEEK Nose Bridge that has helped many people with this. The problem that some have with this pad, it does not provide enough padding with the thin dense flap that I use normally.
I have always offered to send a thicker version if the thin one proves to be ineffective. I am now thinking I should send a thin and a thick one in the package from the start. These are already sold in pairs.
In an attempt to design a better pad,
I am accepting the first 20 people who PM me with your name, email address, mailing address and name of your mask and who will sign an agreement to report feedback to this forum on their results in 2 weeks. These people will receive a free sample of the thicker PAD A CHEEK Nose Bridge Protector in return you must give me feedback to help me develop the best Nose Bridge Protection available.
I thank you in advance.
Karen

Karen--
I bought one from you several months ago (the thinner version, I believe) and it worked fine.
I no longer use a FF mask, but your pad is still on mine in case I need a backup. I would highly recommend your nose pad-a-cheek (thin or thick) as a solution for FF users with "Rudolph syndrome" (as I call it).

Thank you LinkC,
I know that the thinner version is just right for many people, I would like to also help those who need a bit more padding in order to prevent the sores on their bridge of their noses.
It seems an improved design may be in order.

I, also, am a faithful and proud user of the PADACHEEK nose protector. It has made all the difference in the world for me. The thinner version works fine so I won't take someone else's slot for evaluating the thicker one, but I recommend anyone with nose bridge issues to get one.

Karen,
I am a recent purchaser of your nose protector. It helps somewhat, but I still have a bit of nose soreness. But not enough to really complain about it. But yes, I'd be glad to try a sample of the new product. Will PM you shortly.
