Sleep Deprivation and Negative Emotions
Wynken and Blynken are two little eyes, and Nod is a little head. And the wooden shoe that sailed the skies is a wee one's trundle-bed; So shut your eyes.................

The OSA patient died quietly in his sleep.
Unlike his passengers who died screaming as the car went over the cliff...

Re: Sleep Deprivation and Negative Emotions
That's interesting, but for me, there was not enough information on exactly what the point of the article was. They did not define many of the terms they used, such as "good stuff", "bad stuff" and negativity. I also found it a little strange that they would show pictures of mutilated animals. How absurb. I don't think its a good study, and with only 26 persons, and that doesn't seem to obey any of the statistics I learned (not that I'm an expert on it). They didn't actually use the word depression until the last sentence. Then they said, "Don't skimp on sleep" to be happy. That's a pretty vague statement.
We all want to be happy, don't we? Of course, I would like to sleep more, but I have this little thing, called sleep apnea, and I also have bouts with insomnia. I don't get but about 5.5 hours of sleep myself, at my age.
But I don't consider myself depressed. However, thanks anyway, for posting the article. It would seem to me that there needs to be more scientific studies done in that area. Just my opinion.
