Newbie says Thanks and a ?

Post by beachy » Fri Jul 24, 2009 10:03 am

Hi everyone. I'm newly diagnosed with OSA and just spent my second night on CPAP. I wanted to say thank you because without this forum I wouldn't have know to ask for a data capable machine when I picked up my equipment. The sleep doc didn't specify and I got one because I asked and pushed for it.

I'm working on getting software and a card reader. If someone has the Clinical manual for for my S8 Elite II could they email it to me? I have the Clinical Quick Start not the full one - no surprise there. Thanks in advance!

This board is great. I'm looking forward to learning more.

Hello & Welcome, beachy! Glad you found this forum—SO much useful info and everyone here is so willing to help!

You're lucky to have found this forum as you begin CPAP—took me almost year before I found this place and, with the help of folks here, got my CPAP therapy working as it should. It does take time to get everything tweaked and working at its best, so patience is key as one begins CPAP.

The full clinical guide is on a CD -- if you got the quick guide you may have gotten the CD, too.

If not, send me a PM with an email address.
