My husband has had his machine Resmed Elite S8, pressure of 11, for 3 months now. It is not going very well. He is compliant to his theraphy, but he feels he is not getting enough air to breath. He wears a FFM. Would it be dangerous for him to try my bipap, pressure of 22/16? Just needed some advice!
Thank you

Yes, I do think it would be dangerous for him to use your BiPAP at your pressure. Your pressure needs are a lot higher than his and that could cause problems, including Central Apneas. You could change the pressure to closer to his and someone could tell you how to do it but I would suggest finding out what the problem is with his. Is he using Ramp? Ramp can cause people to feel like they are not getting enough air because it starts out too low.

Thank you for you're advice BeanMeScot, He went to see the sleep doctor on wensday, they said try to fine tune the humidifier, and if that didn't work, call them in 2 weeks and they will up his pressure. I will turn his ramp off and see if that works! thanks again

If his ramp pressure is still set to 4 like mine was (the universal setting that most of us simply cannot tolerate as if feels like too little air is being delivered), it can be increased. I had mine re-set to 8 (6 wasn't enough) which was ideal for a long time.
Check to see what his is set to and increase it slightly.
