Good source for 1/2 AA batteries (e.g., for SPO 7500H)

Post by Xeno » Sun Jul 12, 2009 3:01 am

Does anyone know of a good source for 1/2 AA (3.6V) batteries? I'd like to stock up on a reasonable number of them so I can track my SpO2 levels every night for the next few months. The ones I've purchased so far show half charge after the first few minutes of use. I'm concerned that they may have been sitting in a warehouse for a few years.

http://www.batteryjunction.com/ has been the best source & price for specialized batteries I've found.

I've been buying mine from Cyberguys.com and the number on the battery package is 161 0365 and I buy about (5) at a time (along with other stuff).

Cyberguys is a good outfit....nice to do business with.

Might check out COSTCO online to see if they carry. For AAA, their Kirkland brand is rated by Consumer Labs just below the energizer bunny -- I've been happy with life and perfromance. They are less expensive than other top-rated brands.

I've had very good look buying batteries on eBay. As always, look for a seller with good feedback. I see that there are LOTS of auctions, including buy-it-nows for 1/2 AA batteries.

Hi Zeno,

It just so happened that I have been wondering where to get a supply of batteries = that are not five years old.

Just reading this post gave me several - I think I will get them from Costco.

I think if I wanted a new car, I could do an OT on the two cars I am considering. Ask for opinions and within 24 hours my work would be done for me.
