SUBJECT: OXIMETERS

What are the best brand and model of oximeters that you can wear at night
and will give you a read-out of some kind about your oxygen saturation level
while you slept?

This subject has probably been raised before. If so, perhaps someone could direct me to that discussion.

some apnea sufferers dont get lower oxygen levels when sleeping without a CPAP, a meter would be perhaps helpful for self diagnosis if it shows a low oxygen level on waking
australian,anxiety and insomnia, a CPAP user since 1995, self diagnosed after years of fatigue, 2 cheap CPAPs and respironics comfortgell nose only mask. not one of my many doctors ever asked me if I snored

Two popular models of recording pulse oximeters are the CMS-50E and the SPO-7500.

I recently got the CMS 50F from Southeastern Medical Supply. I'm pretty happy with it so far. This is another thread that discusses this model:
