Remstar M vs Auto
Remstar M vs Auto
I have two auto Remstar machines an older auto and a newer auto M machine. They both are set to idential settings. My readings are a little lower on the M machine but my wife tells me I am quieter when I am on the older machine and "girgle" on the M machine. Unfortunately my older copy of encorepro (1.8i) is not working on my new computer so getting readings is somewhat hit and miss. My question is that are the programs so much different on the two machines that the same settings give me different results?
Re: Remstar M vs Auto
Probably. I have 5 Legacy machines (as noted in my profile) which have 4 different firmware levels......they are all set identically and they all report different variations in the report statistics. I've been testing all of them this year and have been using each one for a month to see what their idiosyncrasies may be. I have no way of knowing whether there are differences in the individual machines (sensors) or whether it's the firmware (programs) that are causing the differences, but there ARE differences.bob Owl wrote:I have two auto Remstar machines an older auto and a newer auto M machine. Re: Remstar M vs Auto
I am sure you are right. I think I will stay with the old Remstar. I feel like I am getting a better nights sleep with it even though my ASi is slightly higher on that machine 1.2 vs .8.
