Quattro and ComfortGel Nasal Test Drives....

Post by klockemy » Mon Jun 01, 2009 8:15 am

After having a WONDERFUL night with my perfect mask (FlexiFit 431) and spare (Mirage Liberty) ( viewtopic/t42354/Just-had-to-share-.html ), I feel that it's only fair to offer a test drive for the masks that I tried, but couldn't get to work. They are all clean and have been used less than a week, although you are welcome to clean them when you get them. If you are interested in participating, send me a PM with your Real Name, Real Mailing address and your email address. I will put your name on the list. When the person that has the mask is finished, I will forward them your mailing address so they can send the equipment on to you and so on. Below are the masks/sizes that I am offering:

ResMed Quattro Full Face Mask (Size: Large) with Headgear
Respironics ComfortGel Nasal Mask (Size: Med.) with Headgear and Respironics Premium Chinstrap

If you are unsure if it will fit, please visit the sizing guide on CPAP.com before putting your name on the list. I am sending the user manual with each mask to show fitting suggestions, proper usage and intentional flow. Please pass those on to the next person so they can use them as well.

Thanks,

Kevin

I just want to say I really appreciate what you are doing. I can't take part in YOUR trial since I seem to need such super duper small sizes when it come to masks. But still, what you are trying to do is great

Thank you!

I always feel compelled to give back to the community that has given me so much already. After having a night like last night, it was time those masks had a chance to help someone else. ( viewtopic/t42354/Just-had-to-share-.html )

True.

The Gel is still the same shape from the manufacturer. It fit me great. I just couldn't keep my big trap shut....even with a chinstrap and I wasn't keen on taping/pasting my mouth shut.

Wish I could take you up on your offer but they will be too large for me. I would love to try the comfort gel but I fear too big. I will go measure myself just in case though.

Ahh, so sorry, it says the Comfort Gel Nasal would not be suited for me. Didn't even tell me a size that might work.

The Quattro is going out to it's first test drive tomorrow and still have no takers on the nasal mask. PM me your information to get on the list or be the first to try the nasal mask!

I love my activa, really dislike the Quattro. I tried to sleep with it the other night (had a cold) and it must have leaked so much that I had apneas all night long......

Sorry the quattro didn't work for you but I am glad that you did find a mask that does.
