FF Mask & mouth breathing

Post by Lisaintosa » Fri May 15, 2009 10:38 am

Hi All!!

Something I have been wondering about since I started cpap in November.....I use a full face mask because I was told by my DF that I mouth breath. Isn't the idea of Cpap to get the air in thru the nose to keep that open? or doesn't it matter what "hole" it enters?

Thanks and have a great weekend!

Lisa

Doesn't matter with a full face mask. The air pressure keeps your airway open. Which path it takes to accomplish that is moot... as long as you keep breathing
