Custom Fit Sleep Systems Ltd. REAL or SCAM?

I recently was reading a thread in which an anonymous poster seemed to be promoting his/her own company or product and was mousetrapped in one reply by one of our more astute members. I didn't see the outcome. He left his URL in his post.

I followed his link to his website and used the contact info to email back and forth. I have recieved and email from someone named Isaac whose company, Custom Fit Sleep Systems Ltd., located in Brooklyn, NY is offering to fit and manufacture and sell custom cpap masks . The nasal mask is $450 and the FFM is $550. Isaac was upfront in his email and said that they had not produced a full face mask, but was confident that they could and offered me a money back guarantee . No, I wasn't born yesterday nor did I fall off a turnip truck(sorry if that is not politically correct).

Has anyone ever heard of this company beyond the post a couple days ago, or had any dealing with them or Isaac? My therapy has come as far as it can until I can solve my leaking issues with my 'non standard' face, so i'm sort of in a vulnerable place (for a tough macho man)

I looked at their website an what concerns me is that they advertise very thin and lightweight straps. Those may be fine for people who only sleep on their back and don't move, but what about the rest of us?!

I would think that CPAP mask are subject to government regulation and testing to make sure they are safe and effective. So, if the company hasn't produced a full face mask yet, how have they gotten it tested and approved? Sounds like they haven't. Big red flag if you ask me.

i actually have one of their masks. i have their nose piece. i have had it for 3 or 4 months already and its amazing. they gave it to me with the same warrantee because they were still developing it. i went to meet with a man named Abe and he showed me how their system works with the whole suspension system and the straps. i also said there 100% too small but they said they took away the pressure on the straps that caused the mask to move off the face with something on the bracket (im not sure what its called). ok i thought that was bull shit! but they were right they have done what they said. but the whole point of their mask it the full system not just the mask. if you’re going to buy from them you should get the full system otherwise there’s no point. the company is definitely not a scam, with the prices i could see why u think its a scam, i know i did when i first saw them but they are real....the custom fit sleep systems is just part of their company they do a lot of customized stuff. im not sure what but i know they have a few projects they are working on.
