MIRAGE SWIFT II HELP

Post by chet » Sun May 03, 2009 9:04 pm

I am trying to use this for the first time, and having some difficulty.
If the picture on the MSII manual is correct, the mask I have may be assembled incorrectly. So please bear with me as I attempt to sort this out. When I don the mask with the resmed logo facing out on the pillow sleeve, the resmed logo on the neoprene face gear is upside down and the neoprene is off the face from the ocular orbit on down. It is in front of my eyes. If I reverse the mask to match the picture on the manual it fits like it should, but the resmed logo on the pillow sleeve is in and the contour is wrong.
So to MSII users when your pillow sleeve logo is out(per directions) is the logo on the mask upright as in the picture?
I could attempt to post pictures if my description is inadequate.Thanks.

With the Swift II the the hose can connect to either side of the frame. Just remove the plug and hose, and swap sides.

Not sure if this is the problem or not, but was my first thought.

The problem appears to be the pillow sleeve is placed in the neoprene mask backwards.I would post a picture if I could figure out how to. Is there a manage attachments button to click? If so where is it. I have gone into the UCP and clicked on manage attachments but that does not appear to help.

I can't help with posting pictures, I've never tried. The pillow's can be turned by sliding off the clip on the front and turning the pillows around.

Thanks,I guess I just did not pull hard enough.I have broken a few things in the past by applying a little too much pressure and was afraid of breaking the contraption. Thanks again.
