Respironics Comfort Series Masks

Post by judway » Sun Apr 26, 2009 2:45 pm

From pictures all of the Comfort series nasal masks look alike. Are the parts interchangeable between models? Such as using the comfort gel cushion with a comfort fusion frame or vice versa? If so, what are the models that would be interchangeable? I am interested in trying different cushions to see which works best for me. Hate to buy a full system for each.

judway -- wish I could help -- my first mask was a fusion and i used it for over a month. Had a lot of probs with a sore on the bridge of my nose. I finally got a Swift LT and really liked it. But this past week I decided to try the Fusion again -- but this time I didn't use their headgear but used my new PapCap as the headgear. It is so much more comfortable. And I got PadACheeks help with the forehead cover that has a tab down to cushion the bridge of my nose. Right now it is very comfortable - and I am getting the best scores I have ever had -- AHI 1.6 last night (at 10 cm) -- and four nights in a row without a bathroom break. I am not going to brag because I know how quickly things can change, but right now I am really liking the Fusion.
Hope someone here can give you the answers you seek regarding the cushions.
