Data Reading

Post by doitinmysleep » Fri Apr 17, 2009 4:53 am

Hello all...newbi here and trying to figure out some things I have been reading on the site. Many of us are reading data from the machine to dial in their in machines. The resmed Elite That I have has a data card and reader. Can any one shed some light as to how one can use the data card and read it? Not sure if I have it figured out just yet.

Thanks.

To make use of the data card, you need software and a card reader. Unfortunately, the software is proprietary and only 1 model of card reader will work. The alternatives are:

1) see if your DME/Doctor will download and print the data for you (doubtful) or
2) record the daily summary data from your lcd screen each day. You won't get any detailed information, but it will give you an indication of your leaks, pressure, AI, HI, and AHI as well as hours of use. To access this (provided the feature is enabled), hold down the left and right arrow buttons on the machine until the display reads efficacy data (takes about 4 or 5 seconds). You can then scroll through your data. If the feature is not enabled, post to that effect and someone will be able to tell you how to turn it on.
