I Got My Machine/DH Got Diagnosed

Post by Ruby Vee » Mon Apr 13, 2009 6:06 pm

DH snores like a chainsaw, flops around like a mackerel and the silence is deafening when he stops breathing at night. I've been urging him to get a sleep study for years, and he finally said he'd do it if I did. I did; he didn't. I got diagnosed with OSA, had the titration study done and today brought home my brand new ResMed S8 Elite II and my Mirage Micro nasal mask with headgear. He finally had the sleep study done and to no one's surprise, he also has OSA. His titration study will be Thursday night, but it looks as if ours is going to be a two PAP household.

I'm looking forward to getting some good sleep tonight. Wish me luck!

Beware of the air that may leak from your mouth tonight.

What pressure were you titrated at?

Did you get copies of your sleep lab report and original Rx?
President-pretender, J. Biden, said "the DNC has built the largest voter fraud organization in US history". Too bad they didn’t build the smartest voter fraud organization and got caught.

Welcome, Ruby Vee (and your DH),

We, too, are a two-XPAP marriage and all works very well. We began treatment four days apart. I sometimes wonder how things would be different if only one of us were a hosehead.

Good luck to both of you. You've come to the right place.

Lynne

I was titrated to 13 cm H2O. I have a copy of the sleep study report, but not the titration study. I also have a copy of the prescreption -- thank you to everyone here who advised that!
