Hello, I am new to the struggle.

Post by Brushy Hollow Bill » Mon Apr 13, 2009 2:49 pm

I think I am doing real good but like everyone else I want to tweak things and get even better results.
First, I can't fnd the place to fill out my profile..Never said I was the pointiest arrow in the quiver.

Second, Several years ago people were painting their face with latex body paint for parties and such. Anyway it seems to me that it might be worth trying to stop leaks. The latex is a rubber and the mask has silicone which is like rubber so if the were touching each other it would be like rubber against rubber which would create a good seal.
My Idea would be to lay down the latex along the area where the mask would touch.

I think I am going to buy a bottle and see what happens if know one else has tried it. Who Knows???

So much for my first post...Go me!

1. Look for the User Control Panel, just below the Search box, which is, in turn, just below the CPAPTALK.Com logo.

2. Click on the tab just below the black User Control which says, "Profile."

3. Look to the left, and click on the bar which says, "Edit Equipment."

4. Fill in your equipment, and select "Text" as the display method.

That will help people help you.

The latex might work, but so many people are allergic to latex that it could be a problem. Many people buy Mack's silicon ear plugs, and use them to fill in the leaks.

Hi, welcome to the forum. You're certainly jumping in with both feet!

As Kiralynx said, latex is a severe issue for many people. If you've no issues with it, it would be interesting to see how that goes.

Good luck, and keep us posted!

You should be asleep at this time..Go to bed! I on the otherhand am waiting to watch some great American TV and it doesn't matter if we stole it from you guys or England.

Paul Hogan rules in my book and I used to get a 30 minute show that he did way back in the 70's. Totally funny..

I lied about the Great TV, it's going be professional wrestling and I will probably have a Fosters Lager which is Austalian for made in Canada. Oy Oy

Ah Bill, it is 8am in the morning over here, and on CPAP, no tiredness at this time! Rearing to go.

I remember that Hogan show from the 70s - some of the skits were priceless, and I remember them still.

If by "professional wrestling" you mean WWF or something similar you're watching, a lot of people WOULD call that "great american TV", even over here!

You have never been in my shoes! My old football coach made me write TGIF on them and I still do it to this day. Most people think it means THANK GOD IT'S FRIDAY but to me it means TOES GO IN FIRST because coach said it did.

You could most likely get in my shoes but they are horribly misshapen from those days when I forget.
You would be walking arlound in circles. That is also much like I did in my football days.

That is great and I hope you do well. As I said in another post I was a mess. I was showing people things that weren't there. I was dreaming while talking to you. It was crazy but I kind of enjoyed it. I like reality better but there is much to be said about watching a dream unfold. The mind is a cool machine.

I noticed you live in Cali, I moved to Huntington Beach way back in the 70's. I was trying to learn how to surf when Jaws came out. Then they caught this giant shark off of a place called Citation bay. That was enuf for me.
I knew that if it came down to it I would have to kill a giant shark with my bare hands. I didn't want that.
