A Pad A Cheek Plug!

Post by araminta » Thu Mar 26, 2009 4:41 pm

I just received my Pad A Cheek hose covering. It's fantastic.
I'm looking forward to using it tonite: both to prevent rain out, and to stop the hose from making noise that wakes up my sweetie when I move around in bed (it's draped over the headboard).

Thanks to the forum for introducing me to Karen. She's terrific.

I received a very cool, totally appropriate fora vibrant redheaded woman like myself, hose cover this week from Karen - I asked if she could do a custom one for me in leopard print fleece - my husband saw it, smilled and said "growwwl" Karen is the best !

Got my hose cover and mask pads yesterday and had a great night's sleep. Warm, moist air instead of icicles on my nares: Image. I had also been using my old mask for a few days because of broken capillaries but was able to use my new Opus 360 without any kind of mark whatsoever.

Thanks Karen

So how does some cloth tube that covers the hose from the cpap to the mask prevent rain-out? And then there's this idea that we need some vibrant color to match the sheets or paint on the wall. I'm not sure about the rest of you, but once I close my eyes, nobody cares what color anything is.

On the other hand, Karen has done some really special things for me, like double padding the straps, and that miserable forehead thingy. And now it's all color coordinated no less.

Yeah yeah, Karen rocks.

I didn't mention that there is a Repti-Heat cable inside the cover.

In terms of the colors, I have been very conscious of making my set-up "friendlier" to my little daughter. I've read about kids freaking out when they see their parents in PAP gear, so I always do little things to make the machine, mask, etc a little more appealing to her. If I were still childless, I wouldn't have ordered the blue w/ stars. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

I just love Karen at Pad-A-Cheek. I recently bought the hose cover and it is so cozy and looks so much nicer on the side of my bed then that grey hose. I also have bought the pad covers for the cheeks on two masks and a pad for my nasal gel mask so the gel mask didn't irritate my skin. She is the best and all of her products are the best. Thanks,
