Re: Bring fresh 02 into your home/office
Great advice Betty. I'll go right out and buy 1,200 of those plants right away and fill up my house with them. Then I will spend all of my time watering them and wiping them off. The problem is, where and when do I sleep when the plants are taking up every inch of my house and I spend all my time caring for them? Just kidding - I don't have that problem because I live among many plants, trees and 4 acres of grass all around my home so I have plenty of fresh air to breathe.betty303 wrote:Check this out...a simple way to bring fresh oxygen into your living space, bedroom, or office.

Thanks for posting this, Betty. I thought it was very interesting. I don't have any plants, but this made me want to get some.

Pretty interesting stuff. If you didnt have to wipe the leaves every day I think it might be doable. I have a lot of plants, none in the bedroom and I never wash the leaves. Maybe I should start.

The M-I-L tongue is the only plant my brown thumb doesn't kill. Maybe I need to put some in the house again.

Is the tinyurl.com page not loading, or the ted.com page? Some people/software have blocked tinyurl.com pages from loading, since it is unclear where they are going.dsm wrote:24 hrs later am still getting page load error - did you sink their web site by naming it herebetty303 wrote:Check this out...a simple way to bring fresh oxygen into your living space, bedroom, or office.

Re: Bring fresh 02 into your home/office
My rule of green thumb for house plants is "Buy them big and kill them slowly" ...... nurturing and caring is saved for my kids, the missus, and our dog. I have a hard enough time wiping myself down on week-ends, never mind the plants.

Interesting - and labor intensive! That number of plants would a) overwhelm my house, and b) consume all my free time; still, the increase in SpO2 was measurable...I wonder if that's true if one just gets in the habit of opening windows, rather than ventilating the house with the heat pump or furnace....easy to say, living in a mild climate, perhaps....
