Post by Rodc » Thu Mar 19, 2009 5:46 pm

I am thinking about buying a portable nebulizer . Has anyone here purchased one here? Are they happy with it ? What is a good one. I did a web search and found a lot to choose from.

Hello, I have a Pari Trek and have been happy with it. If come where you can pug into your can and a AC adapter. It is nothing really more the an air compressor as I can use all the other parts from my home Neutralizer.

My doctor suggested the AeronebGo. It is supposed to come tomorrow, so haven't used it yet, but look forward to some quiet after my big old Omron. I hear the Pari Trek is also supposed to be good.

I have a NE-u22 Omron Portable Nebulizer with V.M.T. It's a bit pricy, but it is top of the line and well worth the price. I have never used my "tank" nebulizer since purchasing this one 2 years ago. This nebulizer creates an extra fine mist. I find it very easy to get the medication delivered to my airway quickly. One feature I like, is the ability to pulse the medication inhalation thus reducing medication waste. I think part of the decision for which one will be best for you is what you are treating, how often, how compact you need. When I purchased my asthma was very challenging and I needed nebs for treatment. Carrying the tank to work was a PITA and I was limited in mobility because of needing electricity for the "tank." With this battery operated neb, it can go anywhere. Batteries last a long time. I have no regrets about purchasing!!!!! Good luck in your neb quest.

http://www.healthchecksystems.com/nebulizers.htm You can find a variety of sites to purchase at different prices. I can't recall which I used...I didn't need a RX, some sites require a RX.

Good Luck
