Thinking about getting a pappillow
Thinking about getting a pappillow
I'm thinking about getting a pap pillow and I was wanting to hear what you users had to say about it. I sleep on my back a lot, but sometimes I do sleep on my side. When I'm on my side I have a lot more leaks than when I'm on my back. I think that if I could sleep on my side without leaks I probably would sleep more on my side than my back. I used to sleep on my side all the time until I started wearing a cpap mask. Does this pillow really work? Also, I don't like my pillows to be hard, I sleep on a medium latex pillow and I love it. Is the pap pillow a hard pillow, medium or soft? I'm so picky when it comes to my pillow. I tried so many before finding the latex pillow and when I found it I felt like I struck gold!

Re: Thinking about getting a pappillow
I wish I hadn't wasted my $$ on the papillow.....try this instead:
Take your favorite pillow and a soft belt or long piece of material. Wrap it around your pillow the long way and pull it tight. It'll make the sides indent and voila, there's your papillow. Hang your face/mask over the end of the pillow.
I'm normally a side sleeper but have recently been forced to sleep on my back. I use the Swift LT and have a zero leak rate. My AHI is typically below 5.
All the best,
