I can't remember where I read it, but somehow I thought the cards would only hold 3 days of detailed data. That is why I bought a cable instead. I might be wrong about this though, because I can't find the info on how much the card holds anywhere.

I don't know the answer. My understanding based on posts by billbolton is that the card should hold 5 nights detailed data.
I would probably select "all available data" and let it write over the previous summaries. You won't lose the previously downloaded detailed data.

I always choose "All available data."
I use the USB adapter, but my understanding is that using the USB adapter only gives me access to more days of summary data inside the blower--not more detailed data.

It doesn't make a difference what I choose....I've used "all", 5 days, 7 days....I only get 3 of detailed data and never more than that. If Bill knows a way, I hope he shares it..otherwise, I think RESMED may have changed it. I know my manual says 4 days on the card and 5 days in the machine, but I can't even get that. Also, can't find the usb port on the machine...<grin>

THIS I know for sure. The usb port is added on as part of the usb cable kit. It snaps on over the place where the card goes in, and has to be removed when you put a card in.

I can download 5 days of data by choosing all data available or chosing from the drop menu 5 days........so I don't miss any data, I upload to the data card on Sunday and Wednesday mornings every week so I don't forget and lose data via forgetfulness!!!!!

Well, that would explain why I can't find it then...

I did choose 5 days of data, posted in the screen shots above...got 3. I wonder if the newer machines have less days...

My Autostart II machine is only one week old and I uploaded the card this morning and stopped into my DME for a report to see how closely it would mirror my individual daily machine readings.I'm looking at the report right now and it clearly details all seven days of experience. Your problem shouldn't relate to any issue of limitations to the most recent machines.

OK - The GRAPH posted shows 4 days of detailed data for a start (the LAST day has no data). Did you download to the card after 12pm? That would explain why you don't have data on the last day.
If the manual says 4 days - that would be why there is only 4 days - thay may have changed it in the S8II's in the USA. My Australian S8II definitely holds 4 days detailed data.
The USB link ONLY gives you more summary data - 360 days instead of 360. There is never more than 5 days's detailed data unless you use Reslink.
The person reporting 7 days is confusing summary data with detailed data because what they say isn't possible.

The S8II Autoset II Clinical manual clearly says up to 5 days detailed data. Perhaps iff there are a lot of events the number of days may be less?

As far as I am aware, the number of events has no impact on the size of a daily data set.
Cheers,
Bill
