Humidifier - Running out of water

Post by KevinMWHM » Tue Feb 10, 2009 11:56 pm

I didn't fill up the tank with enough water and it was empty when I woke up... Not sure how long it had been out.

Not that I'm going to make it a habit, but will that damage my humidifier in any way?

Can't see that it would be a problem. The heater plate is feedback temperature controlled, and its maximum temperature is relatively low.

Shoudln't be a problem. I use the highest setting and frequently run out of water. No issues with my humidifier with this happening.
