New Mask..

Post by Sleepy Boy » Tue Feb 10, 2009 7:11 pm

Rooster & Carbonman: I went and got a new mask today. After reading your posts last night, I went to Wright & Filippis today and was fitted for a new mask. I got the Quattro. I tried one on while laying down, and couldn't believe how comfortable it was to wear. I got rid of my chin strap, tape, dental strips etc. I'm looking forward to "bedtime tonight" Any added suggestions? I also got a cpap pillow. Thanks for the encouragement "to do what was best for myself" Larry....

Exact same situation with me... I think the full face is just so much easier to use and miles ahead in comfort. (just my two cents!)

I don't have too much to add not knowing what you had before, but make sure the hose is on the mask nice and snug - I've ripped i t out in my sleep a few times.

Thanks Kevin, I had the Swift Lgt. Nasal Pillows. Their great if you dont mouth breath. It's kinda funny that when you take your sleep study, and you mouth breath, that they dont tell you to get a FF mask? I remember they tried one on me, and I panicked. They said to get a chin strap. I just got up from my first night on the Quattro. I went to bed at 10, got up once to wee, and woke up at 6. Best sleep I've had in a long while.
