Why the HI's

Post by tmbarber4 » Mon Feb 09, 2009 11:48 am

Pressure 11
mask setting standard
hours 6:53
Leak 0.0
AHI 5.3
AI 0.0
HI 5.3
I am happy with the improvements of his #'s but can you explain why he is still having HI's. What would cause this?

I've read here on other threads that Resmed's report higher than normal HIs. Here's a thread that discusses it:

viewtopic.php?f=1&t=38344&p=335747&hili ... hi#p335747

If everything else is going well, I wouldn't worry about high HIs.

Actually, hubby is on a ResMed machine, his first week report showed his AHI at 6.2, doc said it wasn't low enough so bumped his pressure a couple of notches.
