Re: Activa LT?
As soon as cpap.com gets them in, I'm ready to order. I like that the new cushion can be used in the old frame. I don't like the new clips, so I will still be able to use the squeeze clips.
Can't wait to try it.

Re: Activa LT?
If it is smaller than the standard activa I would be on it like a shot but the article you noted confuses me.
In one part the guy says "I loved it. It's more comfortable. It covers less of the nose. It has less visual impact. And quiet? It's absolutely silent! It's a better mask."
But then further down it says that basically the Medium Activa LT cushion is exactly the same as the Std Orig Activa so since there is no small cushion for the LT it still appears that it won't be any smaller.
Is that how others read the article or did I miss something?

Re: Activa LT?
This looks a lot like the Mirage Micro which I've used a lot. The screw type adjustment over the bridge is the same. Last year, when I took my Activa in for replacement of whichever part I had broken that time, my DME sold me the Micro and said that he thought other cushion devices would add the same kind of adjustment devices in the near future. With the Activa, the bridge piece often broke when I turned on my side with my face partly down in my pillow. (Sometimes it was the part of the bridge connected to the forehead piece and sometimes it was the part connected to the lower part of the mask.) I like the Micro, but it has to be worn more tightly than the Activa. I can't wait to try this new one!!!!
Re: Activa LT?
My original Activa was replaced with the Activa LT. The forehead adjustment is finer and provides better fit on bridge of nose. The cushion has a smaller range of expanding movement, but that seems to be of no consequence. The vent I found noisier than the original, and when wet with rainout in cold weather makes a loud whining that wakes me up. For the winter I went back to the original model. I'll try the LT again when the weather is warm. The LT headgear I found more secure. The strap round the top/back of the head on the old model tends to ride up and loosens while sleeping.
Re: Activa LT?
Well, after three nights of my new Activa LT, I am proclaiming it my new and best mask! I was using the Comfortgel Nasal, but had to ratchet it down so tight to keep a good seal that my teeth ached (literally).
The Activa LT does "float" on your face - the straps are so loose they actually droop down a bit, but the seal is perfect. Since I am a side sleeper, it really makes a difference also in leaks, which are minimal.
So two thumbs up for the Activa LT!
