Unintended negative effects of cpap therapy

Post by elader » Thu Jan 15, 2009 11:54 am

OK, this is intended to be humorous.

Until I started treatment, I could be counted on to fall asleep in a darkened movie theater. Since I typically go to the movies as a 'family' event, and we have a 10 year old daughter, we usually went to 'family' movies. Thus, if you are following this... these are movies that aren't the first choice for most middle aged men.

Now I don't fall asleep during movies. I can't fall asleep during movies. Movies about teen vampires, teen princesses, teen detectives...arrrggghhhh!

Well you can do what I would do and close your eyes and cover your ears on the scary parts.

You could trade her for a teen boy. I have zero princesses. I do however have way more superheros than I really need.

One of these days, when your daughter gets to be a teen, she will not want you to go to the movies with her anymore.

Enjoy all those "teen" movies -- I can guarantee you in a few years you will wish you could go with her again.

Take alot of bathroom breaks, fill up your popcorn and drinks

Take Care

The world is full of doubt, indeed, but fuller still of hope.

I have three girls.

My parents had three boys. All my mom wanted was a girl. Her three boys gave her 7 granddaughters and two great grand daughters. 9 girls. no boys.

She got her girls - she just had to wait for them!

Skittles, that is so true. Gee, mine 2 boys are 25 and 30 and I still have empty nest syndrome (not excessively so). My DH and I are waiting to go out to eat, but won't leave until younger son comes by to pick up our granddoggy. I'd go to some of those superhuman hero movies again.
Enjoy her, elader, she'll grow up soon. (Must add that there are wonderful benefits to having grown children.)
