resmed auto set II data interpretation

What does "usage" of 0016/0024 indicate? The RT called to request I give him "used/usage" data and I want to know ahead of time what I am giving him.

my assumption:

probably it is set for 4 hours a night will give you a "point"

that is 16 nights used out of 24 nights

Ahhhhh! Another local DME supplier sincerely interested in their client's welfare and how they are acclimating to their CPAP therapy. "Ain't" it just so heartwarming???

Unfortunately, the humor is the result of just plain ole cynicism ingrained into us by less than truthful, incompetent, non-caring local DME suppliers and their RTs as well as our so-called sleep doctors. Being a "cash cow" forces you to adopt a good sense of humor or give up and get out.

The big grain of salt you have to swallow w/everything these sleep "professionals" try to hand us gets mighty darn heavy in short order!

What he really wants to know is your average number of hours - such as 3.5, or 5.1, or 6.7, where the total hours is divided by the number of hours you use it.
