Any other New Year's babies?

Post by roster » Wed Dec 31, 2008 9:43 pm

My birthday is January 1 and I expect some damn respect from my family for at least this one day per year!

Any other members who were New Year's babies?

Happy Birthday, Rooster!

I gave birth to a New Year's baby. We laugh because he's always called a baby, no matter how old he gets. He turns 23 in a few minutes. I also gave birth to one on December 30 who got us an unexpected tax deduction. No such luck with Tim.

Have a good one, sir!

Lynne

My best friend was born on January 1. My son missed it by one day, he was born on Jan. 2. He took his sweet time, I went into labor on Dec. 31. Missed the tax deduction

Thanks everyone.

The joke in our family is about counting back nine months from January 1 and you get April 1. "Rooster is not a New Year's baby, he is an April's Fool joke." I will be hearing that over and over again today.

Being born is a great way to start a new year! Congratulations, Rooster. I hope you have many more to come.

PS Did your mom make any resolutions after you were born? I bet you were a handful when you were a kid. Were you the last in your family?

Well, happy birthday to you....perhaps I could pay the farmer in your little " rooster video" to let you loose for 24 hours !!
Have a great day!
