Have any of you tried the attachments that are sold for CPAP hoses that are HEPA filters? I was buying some cleansing cloths for mine and I ran across them. I'm highly allergic to dust and dust mites and was thinking of trying them. I'd like to hear from anyone who knows about them...
Thanks.

Somer,
I haven't tried the hepa filters, just the white filter that goes behind the foam filter, they work quite well! Do you use the white filter's??? You might want to give that a try... They collect alot of dust!
Hope this helps a little.

The machines are spec to handle the two real filters, hepa add in's aren't necessary unless you are required to use one 24/7, the standard XPAP filtered air is much cleaner than the normal air you breath, unless you live in a bubble. If you do I'd rather trust the bubble air cleaner. Jim

Money, and they may be useful if you use a comunity machine. (Sleep Lab or Hospital) Some machine that's not been clean. with they use comes the chance of pressure drop as they are on the downhill side of the air output. The machine could see the correct pressure but the mask not get the full pressure or the APAP not get the correct feedback. KISS, usually works best. Jim
