Treatment of Pressure Blisters

Post by Tallen234 » Thu Dec 11, 2008 9:42 pm

Well, I have eliminated leaks on my mask only to get a pressure blister on my nose. The blister is located about a 1/4 of the way down my nose. I've tried moleskin, but it doesn't really help as I don't think it is friction that is causing the problem (it's pressure).

There also doesn't appear to be much on the net for treatment of pressure blisters, so any help on treatment would be nice.

Thanks

Bandaid makes something called blister strips. It's a gel type bandage, and seems to work well on blisters. The mask should still seal with the bandage in place. They also make something called blister block that may be helpful. You should be able to find them in any drug store. Here's a link to the bandaid site;

The blister stuff is at the bottom of the page.
