Have you tried these HOSE COVERS?

Post by sleeplessinaz » Wed Dec 10, 2008 8:58 am

Hi everyone!! Just had to share this GREAT product with you today!! I ordered and received the MOST WONDERFUL hose cover the other day made by our very own Karen at PAD A CHEEK!! These HOSE covers are wonderfully VERY WELL made; a generous size and very, very nice, quality micro fleece material!! You all need one as a Christmas present to yourself and to someone you love!!! I just cannot say enough about how great these hose covers are that she makes. You may have to email her to get one as she does not have them showing on her website yet—but you will NOT be disappointed when you get yours in the mail!! You will not need any electrical heated hose cover after you try this one--let me tell you ---It is an AWESOME product—so soft, cuddly, and very, very well made!! Thank you KAREN!! I LOVE MINE!!!

Second all of the above comments.

I don't have a rain-out problem.
I ordered a cover because I hated the cold, machine
feel of the hose. I don't route the hose overhead,
I deal w/it directly.

This cover totally changed the "feel" of cpap for me.
Plus, I got my favorite colors/pattern to match my Papcap.

It is an AWESOME product and PC is the best.

I love my hose cover too. I made it myself with about $5 of fleece. It has a pretty pattern of maroon fleece embroidered with white daisies. All the hose covers I found were too gaudy and too expensive.

hmmm, my therapist suggested if I had problems to use cut off sleeves from flannel shirts. So far haven't had any problems with my humidifier settings but could you send the link to the hose covers? I appreciate it.

Fleece is great. Got the Respironics brand and it was covered by flexible spending due to it being it being a cpap item from a online cpap store. It is neutral grey and the fleece doesnot pile up and get nasty looking after machine wash/drying it. I just put the end that says respironics on it at the base of the machine so the logo doesnt show.

These covers from PAD A CHEEK are state of the ART! they are bigger than the actual hose itself--so it is very generously made. The colors and patterns are spectular too!! They are very professionally made---high quality velcro too---here is that link:
http://www.padacheek.com/

You can also call 434-985-4003 to place your order Monday - Friday 8-5 EST.

You will not be sorry if you buy one of these hose covers---they are snuggly and makes the whole hose experience not so medical----

Sure wish the website indicated hose covers. I recently bought a padacheek and have also been looking for a hose cover.

YEAH--I called the phone number and she said she was going to be putting the hose covers on her website soon. She took them off as someone on here was making them at one time and I guess they stopped so she can put them on again. Go ahead and give her a call---the material is micro fleece--it is heavenly stuff!!

DId I mention that she made me the Swift LT strap covers in the same material as my new hose cover? The micro fleece is such great quality material--I cannot say it enough how happy I am with her products!! I have no strap marks on my face in the morning. She made them so that they "custom" fit the straps and the plactic bits on the sides of the mask--is it not only functional but looks good too!!

I have been using Snugglehose covers for more than a year now and would not use a hose without a cover of some sort. The fleece covering makes a world of difference in the overall feel of the hose against my body. My usual hose tho is ten feet long and only Snugglehose makes a cover that length (that I know of anyway).

I have the Snuggle Hose and it does not compare in any way to Pad A cheeks!! SORRY!! The ones Pad A CHEEK makes are way thicker and MUCH nicer quality than the Snugglehose covers. Also PAD A CHEEK will make them any length you want --so don't let that stop you---these are awesome and thick Qulaity covers. It is VERY much different that the SnuggleHose---

Is it worth the extra $10 over the Snugglehose price? That is 40% more.

I don't know about the snuggle hose, but I just got my cover from Padacheek and it is very nice. Even if it doesn't stop rainout (I'm sure it will) it is very luxurious. It a well made item, made by a true artist. It is going to beat that cold plastic hose by a million miles tonight when I get to use it.
