Bed Head

Post by MGA531 » Thu Nov 20, 2008 9:45 pm

Ok, I'm getting used to CPAP life. I'm feeling better, not needing naps any more, and have more energy through the day. I am happy about that. I'm just not happy with the bed head I'm waking up with now. Any suggestions? I have my hair very short, about a 3/4" spiky thing. I wake up with a ring embedded in my hair from the head gear. I've tried gel and hair spray, but Its still noticeable all day. HELP! I know this is a vanity issue, but it bothering me.

I used to get a horizontal part from the top strap (I use a Swift II mask) until I started wearing a Speedo bathing cap. I no longer get bed head. It took a couple of nights to get used to wearing the cap...now, I don't even give it a second thought. I started with a latex bathing cap but I didn't like it so I switched to a Speedo silicone one. My wife thinks she's sleeping with Michael Phelps! The added bonus is that the back strap no longer moves upwards during the night.
