Anyone familiar with or have any feedback regarding the CPAP PRO maskless/strapless device? It connects to a mouthpiece (like athletes use) and inserts two nasal pillows into the nostrils. In concept, it looks intriguing....just wondering if anyone's tried it??? A friend of mine told me about it after he heard a radio commercial. I currently use an Ultra Mirage mask and am happy with it, but would like to get the straps off my head if possible.
Their web site is http://www.nomask.com.

I've heard about this mask. I wear a night time mouth guard because I grind my teeth so this mask seems to be right up my alley.
I would like to have the mouth piece fitted by my dentist though. Can you do that? I'd love to try one.
These companies should offer demo's to us posters. We'll let everyone know if it's a good product!

I keep looking at their sight and considering the product. They do have some glowing testimonials. At times I have worn a sports type mold to fit tooth protector for night grinding. I have found when I do get them molded right they are very comfortable and stay put. However, I don't always get it right the first time. When not right they cause me to gag if too far back on the palate. I am tempted to get one. But like everyone else it seems would like to here from someone in person or read about another member of this community who has used one. I was told to use a mirage full face medium mask after my study. It was too small and leaked a lot. I run at very high pressures 13/19 and my tounge was getting crispy dry and chapped even with humidifer. So I am looking for that "perfect " solution too. Jack

I just found out that I might suffer from Sleep Apnea. Met with my Dr yesterday and am scheduled for the sleep study on 1/27/06.
At work today, I was talking to a co-worker and another co-worker overheard our conversation. He told me that his wife has sleep apnea and has used the CPAP PRO maskless/strapless device for some time (I don't know how long). He said that both he and his wife sleep much better and they both feel better. He also said that the CPAP PRO was the only way to go because the headgear is sooooo uncomfortable.
Online, I've even seen some other devicesthat look to be as good but I don't have any experience with those. Actually, I have notexperience with any of this. It's all new to me since this past Monday.
I wish us ALL good luck and good sleep !!!

Well some users on here from what I read didn't care for it. I guess you just gotta find out what works for you. There was one fella who said it got him back into using cpap again. So, everyone has their own personal experiences, and one interface that may be terrible for a bunch of people may actually be the best for someone else. I am going down this road by using a Hans Rudolph FUll Face mask once it comes in. I don't know how well it will work for me, but I am gonna try it regardless and do what I can. It certainly would be nice if the CPAPPRO company would give samples out.
Good luck in your journey

ApneaBoy-
I HAVE a cpap-pro device. I used it for about a year. What your co-worker told may be absolutely true for his wife but may not be exactly right for you. I bought the cpap-pro because the only thing I had to compare it to was the lousy cheap piece of **** mask that the DME gave me. I didn't know any better. I did NOT like a hose running up between my eyes and I did NOT like the pain the mask was causing or the outrageous coverage of the headgear. The cpap-pro device got me back to using my cpap again. So in that regard, it has a special place in my heart... heheheh... but now that I have the Swift, I can't imagine how I put up with the NOISE from the cpap-pro. And the Swift has such minimal headgear, it's like nothing at all.
In short... one person's savior may be another nemesis. So you really sort of have to play the field and see what works best for you.
