Zzz ff vs. Hans Rudolph ff

Post by CorgiGirl » Wed Nov 05, 2008 2:14 pm

Okay, this is my last new post for today, I promise.

I searched for comparisons of the Zzz and Hans Rudolph ff masks but didn't find anything. If it's out there, perhaps someone could post a link to the thread?

If not, has anyone tried both? I like the idea of them, especially because I'm having trouble with my current mask around my eyes. But I've tried the HR and couldn't get it to seal around the bridge of my nose...so I wonder if the same thing would happen with the Zzz. Or whether it's construction is significantly different.

Thanks again! I'm so glad to have the collective wisdom of the folks here.

Haven't tried the ZZZ ,but am a 432 user as your profile says you are and I also have a HR.The 432 is my goto mask and gives me the best leak results(both comfort and encore pro #'s )of any mask I have tried. It also leaves nasty mask marks on my face until midmorning. I purchased the Hans Rudolph several months ago in hope that it would seal better and not have to be adjusted as tight as the 432. It failed miserably and I could not adjust out of a very large leak at the bridge of my nose.Hans Rudolph makes an add on part for the nose bridge that may help with this issue, just haven't got around to ordering it yet.Going from a 432 to a Hans Rudolph would be a step backward ,for me anyway. I am convinced that until Brad Pitt is diagnosed with O.S.A. they won't make a mask to properly fit my face.
Not what you asked ,but hope it helps.

I had the Zzz mask. Its good fit-wise. But it whistles badly at the pivot connections.
