Using Elite in China?

Post by nbayer » Sat Oct 25, 2008 4:43 pm

Hi,
I will be going to China with my Resmed S8 Elite. I know I need an adapter but I'm not sure if I need a voltage converter. China uses 220v. On the bottom of the CPAP it says 110-240v. But I just want to be sure. Has anyone used one in China?

Thanks,
--Nancy

No voltage converter needed. Word of advise, take LOTS of EXTRA filters!

China's electrical system is based on a mix of plugs. The Elite will work fine there.
You can buy plug adaptors there easily.

The type of plugs you need are indicated in this map at a wikipedia site.

For Voltages around the world see

Note:
While HK is the same as China at 220-240VAC, Taiwan is 110-120VAC like the USA.

This was recommended to me as an adapter. Neat little device.

Yes, looks like it will work in most of SE Asia & Australia.
