I have this error on my CPAP which is a REMstar C-Flex and I cannot get it working again. Can anyone help me to get this functional again. I have had this machine for 4 years almost and has worked fine but now I can't get it working and the respiratory company refuses to help me.
I would be forever grateful!!!

this thread should give you what the error codes mean

if this isn't the right machine post the exact model you have - the name will be on the top normally and perhaps someone has more information

Re: error on E-24 Help!!!!
Try:
1. Unplug the machine.
2. Pull out the SmartCard,
3. Plug machine back in, power it on, does it work?
4. You may have to go into Setup and reprogram it.
Did you take the SmartCard to the doctor or DME to have it downloaded? If they didn't erase the card and/or gave you
a card from someone elses machine it will will respond similarly.
The SmartCard is capable of reprogramming your machine. If the settings for doing this wasn't for your machine (matches serial number) it will fail to operate. For example, you cannot take a SmartCard for a Pro and insert it into a Auto without ERASING the card first. First time the SmartCard gets inserted into a machine after being erased it writes that machine's serial number to the card.
If the above doesn't work and you cannot reprogram the machine then the firmware ROM has somehow gotten erased and it will have to be sent back for Service. Call Respironics number in the manual, tell them the DME refuses to help you and where can you send it for service.
