About a year ago I bought my first Comfort Full 2 FF mask. I couldn't get the lower strap connectors to slide thru the gap in the mask that holds the tension on the mask. My fix at that time was to take a small 10" metal file and widen the gap so the ball stems would slide in easily. In all this time I have never had one to come unhooked accidently.
I recently bought another Comfort Full 2 FF mask. When I tried to put it on to adjust the straps I find this one was worse than the first. So out comes my file and I widen the gap so the ball stems will slide in easily to hook up the lower straps. You would think someone at the factory would discover this flaw and get it fixed. Seems I remember several people saying they broke the tines off trying to get the thing hooked up or unhooked. Anyway the fix is easily to do and took less tha 15 min to accomplish. Hope this helps someone else in the same boat. Jim

Thats one thing fixed now if they could just stop the teeth on the top arm from flying off they might have a good mask----

In my humble opinion, it will never be a good mask. Anyone with arthritis would be well advised to go with the ResMed Ultra Mirage Full Face Mask. Wonderful fasteners that work every time and are easy to fasten and unfasten in the dark!

Really they are designed to be tight. The pushing the clip in from the top, spreads the plastic ears and the clip pops in place. The problem comes when the user tries to pull the clip forward instead of up, pop goes the weasle! The mask ears should be stronger, they said they made them stronger, they lied..... They still need reinforcement, but no amount of reinforcement can make up for the user trying to pull the clip out down or forward, pulling up is the way it's designed to work.
It looks bas and smells a for a while, but adding JB Weld Epoxy to the outside of the ear location where they crack makes the last a lot longer. If you can find the cracked off ear, and get all face oil off the parts, it can be reinstalled using Crazy Glue to hold it and after it's in place, JB Weld to finish the job, you have be careful not to build up the area inside where the ball fits. It's funny they give you extra ball end fasteners with each mask, but that's not the weak part. Talk about a company that can't see where they are going, they need a headectomy. As do most corps. Jim
