I titrated at 8cm, but I slowly bumped up to 9cm and my AHI fell accordingly. A couple weeks later I bumped to 9.2. My best night was about 2 weeks ago, at 9cm where I only had 1 apnea the whole night. Lately though my AI has been between .7 and 1.5, probably averaging at about 1. My HI has been between 4 and 6. I know ResMeds score HI high, so I'm not as concerned about that.
My concern is that I'm having more apneas than I'd really care for (0 being my ideal number). They're typically between 15 and 20 seconds. They not usually the result of a leak. So that leaves me with 2 possible conclusions: 1) the pressure is still too low, or 2) They're centrals.
What should I try? I've been good about leaving a setting alone for a week before tweaking again, but I seem to have plateaued.

Re: Getting AI down - Need Advice
Nothing wrong with your AHI, you need to stop worrying about it and sleep with it. Concentrate on sleeping longer if you want to feel better.
A normal patient will have AHI of 5 or more, your AHI is nothing.

someday science will catch up to what I'm saying...
