Sore Throat

Post by Abby » Tue Sep 30, 2008 6:19 pm

Hi all,

I've only been using my cpap (with Quattro full face mask) for 6 nights and I woke up today with a sore throat. Is this just a coincidence or is this a common occurrence among new cpap users?

Thanks!

Was it just sore for a while, or all day? Could be a coincidence, could be you need more humidity. A FF mask allows you to mouth breathe which can cause the throat to become dry and sore. If it's only sore in the morning I would think mouth breathing is the problem. Try raising the HH and see if it helps.
